The proposed development will take place across two sites, where one site accommodates the existing Royal Mail Hotel and its ancillary facilities. The project seeks to remodel the existing façade of Royal Mail Hotel located on the existing site with some alterations to the internal areas such as reception, kitchen while proposing to construct 10 new accommodation rooms with consolidated parking facilities, a gymnasium and a tennis court. The current vacant block of land, the adjacent site is planned to be developed into a two-storey stand-alone spa and private bathing facility. The site located adjacent to the existing Royal Mail Hotel (to the west of Dunlop Street) is proposed to be linked via walkways. Working with Byrne Architecture, our team provided traffic engineering and waste management consulting services through the planning application phase of the project.
