We provide assistance from feasibility assessment stages through to planning stages and ultimately with the delivery. In feasibility assessments we assist in providing technical advice for carparks, access paths, driveways, subdivisions, intersections and later on in the project, we provide assistance through to Planning Permit application stage where our expertise in traffic engineering and parking assessments come in handy. In the delivery stages, we provide assistance with traffic management plans, disruption management strategies and with road safety audits or simply with anything to do with transport.

Planning Permits & Traffic Engineering Advice
Councils and road authorities will request you, your architect or your developer to submit various traffic engineering and parking reports and traffic impact assessments to get your Development Applications (“DA”) / Town Planning Permits approved. We understand not every one is familiar with what a traffic impact assessment, a traffic management plan or a swept path assessment is. This is where we can help. RedSquare Traffic’s experienced traffic engineers know exactly what the road authorities and councils are looking for. When a traffic engineer’s assessment is included into your Development Application or your Planning Permit Application, councils are far more likely to approve your application. Construction Traffic Management
Councils and road authorities will request you or your sub-contractor to submit Construction Traffic Management Plans (CTMPs) when you are operating a construction site or an event which generates additional amounts of traffic which may disrupt the ordinary road network in the area. RedSquare Traffic’s experienced traffic engineers are experts at preparing complex traffic management plans that will gain approvals. We will ensure plans are drawn up according to applicable standards and regulations.

Traffic Data Collection
Certain projects may require data collection through traffic surveys and/or traffic counts in order gain a better understanding about the existing conditions of the surrounding road network. This could also be a ‘before’ and ‘after’ data collection process to compare differences. RedSquare Traffic has experience in conducting surveys on site to gain useful data that will assist in developing designs.

Dane has a wealth of experience working across both Public and Private Sectors including VicRoads, Yarra Trams & SMEC Australia. He is a VicRoads (DoT) Accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor and VicRoads (DoT) Recommended Safe System Assessor and specialises in Traffic Impact Assessments, Development Planning, Traffic Modelling and Road Safety.
